Electronic Systems

for the Guarani weapon station

Description

In December 2014, AEL Sistemas began manufacturing electronic and electromechanical units and cable assemblies that interconnect the REMAX System units. This Weaponry System from the sister company ARES is installed on armored vehicles from the Guarani family of the Brazilian Army. The REMAX System consists of two parts: The gun station, installed on the outside of the vehicle, and the operation console, which is inside. It is remotely controlled by a single operator, who stays inside the vehicle and allows a precise shot, even when vehicle and target are moving.
