AEL Sistemas is a benchmark in the design and development of avionics and has consolidated its presence by becoming the main provider of the avionics suite for the Brazilian Air Force’s A-1M, A-29 Super Tucano, C/P-95M Bandeirante, and F-5M aircraft, the Brazilian Navy’s A-4M Skyhawk, and for the EC725 Caracal/Super Cougar helicopters manufactured by Helibras.
With this significant participation in the main strategic projects of the Brazilian aeronautical industry, we have been selected and are currently supplying advanced avionics systems for tactical transport aircraft and fighters.
Wide Area Display
The panoramic wide area display – WAD – optimizes the presentation of high-resolution symbology and images and allows operation via the hands-on throttle-and-stick (HOTAS) and/or directly on the screen, whether through bezel switches or touchscreen capabilities. Software applications are designed to enhance the pilot’s interpretation of the combat arena, simplifying the decision-making process and making aircraft operation more efficient.
Head Up Displays
Our diverse range of customized head-up displays covers fighter and transport aircraft cockpits, such as the A-1M, A-29, F-5M, A-4M, KC-390, and F-39 Gripen. The Low-Profile Head-Up Display series is compatible with advanced 4th, 4.5, and 5th generation fighter aircraft. These digital HUDs are compatible with Wide Area Display (WAD) and can be adjusted to the specific cockpit configuration.
Enhanced Vision System
An exclusive piloting solution where the image generated through multispectral optical sensors is fused and presented on the Head-Up Display or on the pilot’s helmet-mounted display, allowing for enhanced interpretation of the environment, even in adverse weather conditions. The EVS enables landings in adverse weather conditions, even on non-instrumented runways.
Helmet Mounted Displays
The TARGO-II HMD was developed to concentrate key operational information for mission accomplishment, projecting it directly into the pilot’s field of view. Ensuring the availability of critical information throughout the flight allows the pilot to operate aircraft systems with extreme effectiveness, expanding employment capability in the most challenging situations.
Computers
AEL has extensive experience in developing computers for fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, employed in various missions such as fighter aviation, transport, patrol, and search and rescue. Its systems are internationally recognized for increasing operational effectiveness, reducing crew workload, and enhancing mission success. AEL’s computers include solutions for weapons management, reconnaissance, electronic warfare, data fusion, and live training. They follow rigorous civil and military aviation standards, achieving the highest levels of certification for critical applications.
