AEL Sistemas holds a robust presence in diverse space programs, partnering with INPE in the development, qualification, and production of satellite electronic systems. Notable projects include the Brazilian Complete Space Mission (MECB), the Earth Resources Satellite (ERS), and, more recently, the SIA project, wherein AEL produced the first Brazilian onboard computer (OBC) for space applications, utilized in medium and large satellite platforms. Furthermore, we are the Brazilian company with the highest number of onboard equipment units in the ERS program.
Continuing within the space sector, AEL is an integral part of the SatVHR project, led by Visiona Tecnologia Espacial. This project aims to develop a high-resolution Earth observation satellite, equipped with a sub-metric camera unprecedented in Brazil, alongside advanced maritime monitoring and Internet of Things systems. AEL is responsible for developing the satellite’s onboard computers and the attitude and orbit control system, reinforcing the company’s role in promoting national sovereignty in high-performance space technologies.
